The range splits naturally into two moods. Everyday flats are simple, single-strap or double-strap slides in neutral tones — black, tan, beige, white — meant to go with jeans, kurtas and abayas alike, and to survive a full day at university, the office or running errands. Statement slides bring in embellishment: crystal-studded straps, bows, metallic finishes and warmer colourways like gold and maroon, designed for dawaats, family gatherings and the kind of semi-formal occasions where you want comfort but still want the shoe to be noticed. Both are built on the same comfort-first sole, so the choice is purely about styling, not trading comfort for looks.

Fit is where slides differ most from closed shoes, since there’s no lacing or strap system to adjust once you put them on — the width and shape of the footbed does all the work. Our sizing runs 6 to 11, and because slides are worn barefoot or with bare feet more often than heels or sandals, we’d suggest sizing to your usual footwear size rather than sizing down, since a slightly looser fit is far more comfortable for slip-on styles than a tight one. If you’re between two sizes, the larger size is almost always the safer choice for this category specifically.

Because slides are handled and stepped into more casually than any other shoe — kicked off at doorways, worn without socks, left by the bed — the embellished details need a bit more care to stay looking new. Wipe crystal or bead detailing with a dry cloth rather than water, keep slides out of direct rain where possible, and avoid dragging the sole on rough concrete, which is the fastest way to wear down the footbed’s texture. Rotating between two pairs, rather than wearing one pair daily, meaningfully extends how long the embellishments hold up.

Slides also work harder for an outfit than most people give them credit for. A plain black or tan slide disappears under a maxi or wide-leg trouser and is the safest daily choice; a metallic or embellished slide can lift a simple kurta or abaya for a family dawaat without needing a full outfit change into heels.
